Parliament, Room #5.Tussle to occupy.TMC & TDP at daggers drawn.

It really shook me ,when I heard about the scuffle in the parliament, between TMC and TDP,over a pity issue of,TDP,made to  evacuate room #5, in the parliament premises, thereby making room for TMC, to occupy it.

How ridiculous,Shameful and ungenerous on part of the erring parliamentarians.

I would like to give 5 mantras,to introspect,to those involved in the tussle to occupy room #5.

please for God’s sake;
1.Make room for, smooth running of the parliament business.

2.Make room for, others to learn, how important it is to attend parliament as a duty. With regularity and punctuality,of course.

3.Make room for, making the younger parliamentarians, understand, that Lok Sabha is the “temple of Democracy”,and  not a battle field. And we need to honor it.

4.Make room for, poor people of India, who comprise more than 60% of the total population,to get maximum benefit out of the total business run in the parliament.

5.Make room for, not fighting over pity issues like which room belongs to whom. After all, what is there in a room. You have to serve the nation.you can do it from any room. All rooms are in the parliament premises itself.

Why to fight over a well equipped room in parliament, when you ought to think of our jawans who fight the enemy at Siachen, kutch and uri,in sub zero temp.& snow storms, scorching heat & wilderness of deserts, and dangerous hilly terrains.

This is the example you are going to set for them, instead, boosting their morale up,to fight the enemy.

Come on friends!Time to “retrospect, and Act”.

Prime minister Narinder Modi’s visit to Leh,Kargil 12Aug’2014

I have a tremendous regard for senior journalist Satish Jacob. But, I differ from him, when he says that,PM’s remarks on Pakistan are “irrelevant”.This, he said, while expressing his views, on a TV channel, today.

Well, Mr.Jacob,in his own right, can express his point of view. But I would like to assert that, when the Prime minister tries to bring the neighbors across the negotiating table, to discuss issues,we waste no time in terming this as, “soft approach”,on part of a prime minister, who spoke very hard, when in opposition.

And, when the Prime minister really talks hard, and tries to call a spade a spade, in terms of,the position of our neighbor, having lost the strength, to indulge in a conventional war, thus indulging in a proxy war against India,we call his statement as “irrelevant”.

Then what sort of relevance, do we expect, should our Prime minister, attribute to his statement, while commenting on the position of a neighbour, who is hostile, and homes fundamental elements, responsible for spreading hatred in our country.

Whose army cuts the heads off the body of our valiant jawans.

Whose representatives on various news channels,as panelists utter that,India dare not touch Pakistan. And if we do so, they can rub us off from the world globe. If you are asked to give a befitting reply to this, what would you say,Mr.Jacob.

We,as journalists, can, in no way call a statement of the head of the nation as “irrelevant”.if ,at all,we don’t like the statement,or feel that the timing of such statement is not appropriate,we can put it likewise in different terminology, instead, terming it as “Irrelevant”.That too, when the PM refers to a hostile nation.

Rahul Gandhi – A Political Novice

Well, can someone ridicule parliament and accuse the speaker of being partial, publicly, in front of the media.

While watching Mr.Rahul Gandhi,on TV,I was taken aback, when I saw,how someone, who was taking a nap in the parliament house, during an important discussion, only a few days back, can get so vigourously recharged,so as to come straightaway into the well of parliament house and start yelling.

Mr.Rahul Gandhi,I think, what you said,is a bit contradictory. How can you call,an Institution, which houses 542 elected members,as an Institution, where only one man’s voice is heard. And,that the attitude of the speaker is partial and one-sided.Don’t you feel, that the statement,is somewhat, exaggerated, keeping in view, the sanctity of the house, and, the position of the speaker, of the august house.

Well,if such, would have been the case,do you think, the people of the largest democracy, are dumb, and that, they would let it happen.please understand the power of Indian voter. The latest national election is only a few months old, what happened?Let the new Govt.work.The whole Nation is watching.
Well,I would not suggest you, to set your own house,in order. That is the job of the politicians and your political rivals,to suggest. what,I would suggest to you, very humbly,is that,if at all, you intend to come, into the well of the parliament house, please choose some solid reason,so that you may,not have,to cut a sorry figure.
This time, you decided to come into the well of parliament house, with the issue,”only one man’s voice is heard in parliament and that your voice is not heard”,well,You happen to be the citizen of India, and a proud parliamentarian, you have every right to choose your issues,to disrupt the parliamentary proceedings.I can not even say, that, it is an issue out of a non-issue,as Mr.Jaitly, put it.
But,as Indian citizens,we would,appreciate, a much responsible behavior,in the parliament,by every member.

Autobiographies; Statement or Concealment?

If there is something, that would be considered as,”truth & only truth”,about someone’s life,in the form of his or her own statements, made public,is”The Autobiography”.And,believe me,there was a lot of authenticity attributed, to such books in the recent past, and people would look at these books with high esteem.
But,don’t you think, that,it is now, only a thing of past, especially, when it comes to the autobiographies of the so called politicians, and the bureaucrats, who, for the reason, best known to them, have put the basic concept itself, of autobiography,in jeopardy.
Well,I am afraid, the very purpose of autobiography, has been switched, from, credibility,to commercialization and vengeance.
Now,the scene is like this,”you dare, write something,in the name of your autobiography,to defame me & malign my image, you wont find me lagging behind.”This is the sad tale, of autobiographies, nowadays.
You want to supersede, you want to gain political mileage, you want to gain from unlawful means, you want to sensationalize, you want to create a hype, just write a book,in the name of your “Autobiography”…..It is…..Your….”MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”.
But,yes, one very important fact has come to light, through these, so called autobiographies. And that is,perhaps true.”May be someone would hide something, that has really happened in his or her life,by not mentioning it,in his or her autobiography, which,in the normal course,he or she should have mentioned, keeping in view the very essence of writing an autobiography, there is,definitely someone else, who will, take the charge, and bring that fact to the limelight, through his or her autobiography, just to settle his or her score.’
And that is what, the true meaning of autobiography,it seems,is, in the contemporary India.
How sad! Isn’t it?
