Electioneering A Mockery-PM Too Stoops Low

After winning the parliamentary elections, there has been a sea change in the humanistic approach of the honourable Prime Minister of India Mr. Narinder Modi.

During the Delhi Assembly elections these changes have come in the limelight, and let me tell you whatever has been uttered and transpired during these elections, has not only tarnished the image of the post held by Mr Narinder Modi, but fingers have also been raised on the behaviour in which Mr. Modi dealt with his political rivals during his election rallies.

Campaigning during elections is the right of every political party fighting the elections, but fighting it in a most uncivilized, unpolished, uncultured and benighted manner is something which brings worries in the mind of every Indian citizen who believes in the most cultured and sophisticated conduct of the process of polls.

“Naseeb” meaning Luck and “Badnaseeb” meaning Unlucky, Unfortunate, Ill-fated, Miserable,Wretched etc, is not the appropriate terminology to be spoken by a person who has been made to hold the highest political position in the country by the electorate.

In elections you have to act “Political’ and not “Apolitical or Social. Elections are fought on political facts and not on the basis of luck or ill luck.

And if it would have been so then Mr Narinder Modi who has turned out to be the most unlucky in these elections.

Do you have the answer?

2015 A Year Ahead

2014 was a year of change, hope and strength both on social and political fronts.
we saw a strong resolve conforming to the will to fight women abuse which is something which needs to be applauded thunderously.
2014 witnessed a nation wide fight against corruption basically targeted at uplifting the poor and downtrodden conditions prevailing in rural India.

There have been various other numerous social reforms which have played a significant role in making India a more progressive and forward looking country in 2014. These social reforms were aimed at fight against several social evils such as Sati, widow remarriage, child marriage, child abuse, illiteracy, poverty and above all the crime against women.
Indian people have of late felt themselves very near to the real “BHARAT” concept, which enshrines social equality, women empowerment, social upliftment and economic stability.

There have been other reforms on the children’s front and various other social evils during 2014.

Scientifically also India has achieved unprecedented success in so far as entering the orbit of Mars at the very first attempt is concerned, when other developed countries failed to do so in their first attempts. And that too on the lowest cost ever.

On the sports front also we saw a rise in the popularity of ancient Indian sports like Kabbadi, not only on the national arena but Internationally as well. We made around 35 countries play the game with India as their mentor.

In the field of entertainment, India has, as usual, been the leader in film production. Be it the documentaries, social and art films or for that matter the commercial films, India still happens to be the leader. Though we may not be conforming to the international standards of film making.

On the political front also India has proved its metal. Be it the arch rival Pakistan or for that matter the ever unfriendly China, India has been able to convince them politically in a manner that not only have we been able to persue them to change their policies towards India but also work as per the wishes of India, so as to work towards world peace.

America has strongly acknowledged the presence of India in the International arena.

There are numerous other examples vindicating the Indian might.

2015, we wish, should in all ways be a year of follow up for all that was conceived on the social and political fronts during the year 2014.

I wish all my friends the world over, a very successful, eventful and a happening new year 2015.

Hope 2015 sees India achieving the unachieved, making we the citizens, feel proud about that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

“Ballot Proof” For Pakistan

The incredible voter turnout in the valley of Kashmeer, should silence Pakistan, once and for all.
No matter which political party the people
voted for.But they voted, despite repeated boycott calls from the separatist organisations, operating in the valley at the behest of Pakistan, to disrupt the prevailing peace and tranquility, for which the people of kashmeer have suffered a lot.

More than 70% voting in the valley should be an eye opener for the hostile neighbour and for all those disruptive forces which are hell bent to destabilize the Indian polity.
India has time and again proved it, to Pakistan in particular, and to the world in general, that it is the “ballot” which wins over the “bullet”. But Pakistan has always been in a denial mode that too with a shameless arrogance and refusal to act.
This time it is much bigger a  “ballot proof ” than ever.
Let us wait and watch for the response, Pakistan has in store.
We cannot afford to expect something very positive but still may be the powerful ballot silences the ballistic bullet.
Thanks to the most enlightened electorate of J&K, we have been in a position to make our neighbour understand the meaning of democracy, which has been eluding them, since they opted for a separate state, with a hidden agenda for making it a fundamentalist Islamic entity.
They have been paying heavily for the blunder they committed in 1947.
But it is never too late. Mistakes can be corrected. What is needed is the strong resolve for ” Home coming “, and working hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder with the fellow brethren, towards building a powerful nation which was once called the ” Sone ki chidiya “.

It is a time to unite.

Let the world watch yet another reunion after Germany.

Pakistan, Barbarism And Mercenaries Of God.

One who digs the pit for others, falls himself into it.
We had heard about this saying, but its coming true was experienced only when more than a hundred mercenaries of god, the innocent children of an army school in Peshawar, were subjected to the century’s  most brutal and barbaric massacre.
My God, these terrorists have no mercy, religion or character. They are ruthless beasts.
Pakistan on the one hand says it wants to fight terrorism, while on the other it perpetrates it on a very high scale, providing a safe ground for terrorist outfits to flourish.
A confused Pakistan, doesn’t know which direction to go.
But,India,at the same time, can not be a silent spectator.
India will have to be proactive in the present state of affairs.
Pakistan, we know,  can not lay its hands on the dreaded terrorists like Hafiz stayed, Laqvi and the likes of them, as they happen to be the most celebrated personalities in Pakistan.
It is lastly India to nab the culprits, that is what seems to be the ultimate course of action towards a right direction.
Terrorism can go to such inhuman levels, is something which stuns the human race on the planet Earth, and India will have to act decisively and put permanant brakes on  terrorism unleashed by Pakistan and its secret agency ISI.

God bring humanity back to humans.

Gentleman’s Game suffers yet another jolt

Destiny hits cricket fatally once again. After Raman Lamba, it is Phillip Hughes now.
Raman was 38 when he was hit by a Bangladesh batsman, and Phillip Hughes was just 25, having his birthday on coming Saturday, when he would turn 26.
Misfortune knocked ruthlessly at the door of Australian cricket when Phillip Hughes suffered fatal head injury while negotiating a bouncer ball from Sean Abbott, in a sheffield shield cricket match, and the ill fate as it would be, it turned out to be the, ” last ball ” he played in his life.
What would have been the level of helplessness for his mother and sister who too had come to see their darling in action, and soon realised that this was the last they could see him play.
A sad and dark day for world cricket, in fact for the whole of mankind.
We deeply and with dampened eyes mourn the tragic and unfortunate demise of this promising cricketer and a very humble gentleman.
We should not even ignore the agony and shock that Sean Abbott, will be in, at this point of time.
Cricket lovers need to be beside him counselling and sympathising.
May Almighty God give peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Can cricket be so dangerous a game, so close to fatality, is something the cricketing bodies world over need to give a serious thought to.

26/11 Six Years And The Memories Still Alive

26th Nov,2008, Mumbai, and the ugly game of terror, conceived and tailored by the most hostile neighbour Pakistan.
A preplanned and premeditated act of brutality, and ruthless cowardice, exposing Pakistan, stunned India and left every Indian shattered and shocked.
Six years passed and the perpetrators are still at large. Why? Because our hostile neighbour, who happens to be arrogant and harbourer of terrorists, who has lost the international credibility of being a stable state, is unabatedly in a mode of denial.
Day is not far when this unfriendly neighbour will regret its, unwarranted for, stubbornness.
My heart felt homage to the 160 martyrs, who fell prey to the barbarian massacre unleashed by the enemy nation.
India believes in justice, not in revenge.
Pakistan will soon realise the situation. Let us hope.

J&K Assembly Elections A Glorification Of Indian Democracy

Assembly elections in Jammu and kashmeer have always been a reason to rejoice and  rejuvenation.
People of kashmeer have time and again, through their right to franchise, shown it to the world that whatever the issue, kashmeer can never be separated from India.
It may be a hard reality, but our neighbour needs to understand the ground reality that kashmeer was, is, and will be the crown of great India with a jewel of POK.
Very soon we will acquire POK  as the cherished jewel in the crown.
Whatever may be the reason for such a brisk voting in the first phase of elections in J&K, it outrightly vindicates the power and significance of being a democratic entity.
Kashmeer has been a reason to believe, that there is immense power in unity in diversity.
Even Gandhi once said that he can see a ray of hope in kashmeer.
I would appeal to all my kashmeeri brethren, to leave no stone unturned in glorifying the democratic values and the grandeur of our beloved country.
Assembly elections in J&K should work as an eye opener for all those who propagate separatism.
INDIA stands for unification, not for bifurcation.
Separatist organisations like hurriyat and panun Kashmir are bent upon creating barriers in the way of Hindu Muslim brotherhood and kashmeeriat, the age old doctrine and philosophy preaching amity.
Kashmeer can not be compromised under any circumstances whatsoever.

Modi’s Saushta Abhiyan Indian media Indian Women

I think the cleanliness drive ” saushta abhiyan ” introduced by the worthy Prime minister, all over the county, in fact all over the world, should also be extended to the Indian entertainment TV channels.
These channels are ironically leaving no stone unturned in maligning the image of Indian women.
Every channel is drastically engaged in winning the race, in portraying the Indian woman as the most poisonous creature that ever existed on the planet earth.
This is how we present ourselves to the international viewer ship, and at the same time expect the world bodies to recognise India as pioneer in advocating women empowerment.
I think there is a big lapse on part of the Information and broadcasting ministry in not setting the standards for those tv channels which are bent upon giving a misinterpreted and exaggerated portrayal of the India social arena.
Leading tv channels in the world feel proud in portraying their women as intellectuals, scientists, astronauts, lawyers and judges, detective agents, social workers, adventurers and also good comedians who make you laugh and lighten up.
But, how sad since the advent of entertainment tv channels in India, we know women as vamps, unfaithful lovers, cruel mothers in law, jealous sisters in law, and what not. Of course, barring a few serials depicting the bravery and valour of some selected Indian women.
This is the standard we have set for our tv serials and it seems we are fine with it, because for decades we have left it ignored and unnoticed.
Can we ever give a serious thought to it and take our entertainment tv to the newer horizons of international standards.
I am hopeful….. Yes I am.

Children’s Day’ 2014

I wish all the children the world over, a very affectionate children’s day.
May the children allover the world be protected and cared for.
Let us all take a sincere pledge that we will selflessly fight for a better future of the children and also strive for eradication of child abuse and child labour.
It is undoubtedly a very uphill task, but let us remember, ” where there is a will, there is a way”.
Together we can bring back the lost childhood of the children who are living a miserable life under the cruel clutches of so-called humanity.
Together We Can.

Voting A Prerequisite Of Participatory Democracy

Indian citizens will have to decide whether they respect the democratic polity or just want democracy as a source, to enforce their fundamental rights.
We forget that if in our constitution, fundamental rights, is an important aspect enshrined in it, there is another very important aspect, which we relate to as, fundamental duties.
So if fundamental rights and fundamental duties go side by side, why can’t we assign the importance of fundamental duty to casting of the all important vote.
After all a vote decides the fate of the government, which can rule and decide for our rights to be safeguarded.
Right to vote should in fact be the duty to vote, in a democratic setup of a country like INDIA, where democracy happens to be the nation’s pride.
There can be legitimate discussion on the issue of a citizen exercising or not exercising his or her right to vote, unless and until we don’t make it a genuine “duty to vote”.
And making right into duty, needs constitutional amendment.
And such amendments are welcome ones.
If we say we need good roads, good hospitals, good schools, good education etc. etc. Then we need to be good citizens as well.
Moreover, when we make voting as fundamental duty and when everyone votes, it will be the prime responsibility of the government to see to it that everything is in place.
So, like other fundamental duties enshrined in the Indian constitution, to vote, should be one of them.
I support ” Duty to vote “, as constitutional basic for the Indian citizen, who wants to see India as #1.
